Bedfordshire Music is a partnership between Bedfordshire County Council and the Bedfordshire Music Trust for the provision of instrumental tuition, ensembles, concerts, events and musical activities in schools and the wider community of Bedfordshire.Over 150 Bedfordshire Music teachers work in Schools and Music Centres across the County each week, working at all levels from very beginner to advanced level. Many students from Bedfordshire Music have gone on to become professional performers and teachers in their own right and we are very proud of the musical tradition that has been established in the County over many years. Bedfordshire Music provides: Instrumental tuition for children and a growing number of adults in County School & Music Centres. Five area Music Centres at: Bedford, Ampthill, Biggleswade, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard which all run a wide range of ensemble and other musical classes & activities. Five County Orchestra, three County Bands, Percussion Ensembles, A Youth Opera and numerous chamber ensembles on a non residential holiday course basis. Free loan of many musical instruments. A large Music lending library. Professional musical advice and support to schools and the community of Bedfordshire. nstrumental workshops, school ensembles and instrumental days.
